I would highly recommend Scott and his team. I am a middle aged female and found him very approachable, helpful and excellent standard of wok. He also phoned in advance and keep with full updated on progress. I am delighted with the job done and would have no hesitation in using again or recommending to anyone
My wife was also put off by Scott but the product he delivered was pretty good. When you're having a house built, unforseen circumstances will arise and you will have to compromise. I think many of the ladies just demand what they want and find it hard to accept that compromise has to be made on both sides. I think Scott struggles with this and could be a better communicator.
Having said that, our build was good. Six years later and no problems. No leaks, nothing falling apart, just a good solid build. Very happy about the quality of work.
I'd recommend him but he will be a bit blunt and surly at times. I find his surliness far more palatbale than a bad build.
Scott Thompson was engaged by my wife and I to perform building works on our home. He was nice and very obliging when quoting the job, however once the work commenced he was extremely rude, arrogant and aggressive. He was unapproachable and my wife was scared to even ask him a question. My wife and I have no knowledge of construction work and were merely seeking advice, only to feel threatened and intimidated by Scott. After outlaying such a large sum of money for the work, we were deeply dissatisfied with the way we were treated and would strongly advise against ever using Scott Thompson building on your renovation or new build
