My business conducts inspections of swimming pool fences and gates to check they meet the requirements of the Queensland Pool Safety Standard. The Pool Safety Standard was introduced to reduce the number of drownings or near drownings of young children in the State.
In most instances upon a successful inspection I may be able to issue a Pool Safety Certificate at the time of inspection. Briefly, a pool safety certificate is a requirement if selling or renting a home that has a swimming pool or spa and doesn't have a current pool safety certificate. The certificates also apply to multi-residential and some businesses too.
I am available by appointment to carry out inspections in the areas of the Moreton Bay Regional Council and Sunshine Coast Council.
