Service was ok.
Store is clean.
Bit noisy with the children's playground right outside but we were lucky enough to get a corner inside.
We both ordered Canadian pancakes. Syrup was very light on and we had to ask for more.
The scrambled eggs had quite a bit of shell in them which was dissapointing.
Otherwise is was good.
Whilst service here seems a little inconsistent, I keep returning as this cafe seems to be growing in size. Overlooking the kids play area beside target and JB, it's perfect for parents to take a moment at a table and have a hot drink. The staff could be more on the ball. I wasn't impressed by my drink being forgotten, once I finished my meal I chased it up, as a take away. On a particularly quiet day, where they appeared almost overstaffed, I found this a little hard to explain. The low rating here comes from the food I've tried. The salad is fine, though heavy on red onion, and hot chips as a side are good too. But the beef pastry and spinach filo were not at all enjoyable. Fat to beef ratio was far out in one and the spinach cheese filo...well. I struggled to eat them even though I was pretty hungry.
