Very Very Disappointing. Company I bought goods used this company. Charges were 50% more than a similar shipment I had from Germany, this was from France... Closer yet and the shipment was almost two weeks late when it was suppose to be delivered in a week! Extremely expensive and when I called to pay for tariffs and duties so goods could be shipped on their domestic leg, they wanted to charge me to use my credit card. I had to EFT the funds and wait 1-2 days for the funds to clear before they'd release the goods.
We are sorry your experience with SDV was not as smooth as expected. There are many factors that can affect and delay clearance & delivery of international cargo and we apologise if the reasons specific to your shipment were not communicated to you at the time. Regarding payment, there is a small surcharge that is applied for credit card payments, and it is standard company policy to collect payment upfront for one off shipments. An account can be opened with SDV for continuing business.
