Extremely bad service has moved me to review on line for the first time.
• They didn’t return calls or answer emails and didn’t turn up when they were meant to.
• The floor was laid badly and had to have them back to fix a lot of defects.
• Cost us time and money because they didn’t show up when they were meant to and didn’t deliver the complete order. This caused delays for other tradesmen. Marie and Zak in the Waterloo showroom are very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Matt and his team who installed timber floor in 4 rooms at our home are on top of their game with great attention to detail. From start to finish this project went smooth and on time. The experience with this company clearly exceeded our expectation.
Very bad, Very Unhappy. 3yrs on and issues still not resolved. I purchased what I thought was Australian made quality shutters and received cheap MYT shutters that looked embarrassing. It then took over 12 months for SE to acknowledge the issue and supply Australian shutters only to have them badly installed. Worst purchase of my life so far.
In January of this year we renovated the kitchen in our unit and decided to put in a timber floor. Three years ago when we bought the unit we had SE Timber put down a black butt floating floor in our hallway and living room area, and they also carpeted the two bedrooms - fantastic job in all ways - from dealing with Joanna at the showroom, to Fernando with the quoting, and finally Matt and his team with the floating floor installation. We had exactly the same great experience in extending the black butt floor to the kitchen, and the same excellent personalised service from Joanna, Fernando and Matt all the way through. All the precision edging in the kitchen (the floor went in after the cabinetry), plus the transition in the hallway doorway from the older floor to the new with a beautiful joining strip - everything was immaculate.
