Sea Stradbroke Car And Passenger Ferries

i recently traveled with Sea Stradbroke Car & ferries now known as the Big Red Cat and i found the staff and the service excellent. the ferry was much nicer and more relaxing than the old blue one at the next door company which really suprised me and my wife . The fare was the same

Stradbroke Island was a perfect Holliday destination two thumbs up!

We really enjoyed our ferry trip with Sea Stradbroke across to the North Island. Arrive early and you get a great front position on the ferry - which is handy at the other end of the trip. Once onboard, you then have the option of either sitting in your vehicle, standing on the deck outdoors, or sitting inside on the upper-level. Great viewing windows, comfortable lounge area, or seating at tables with chairs that swivel around to view the scenery. Clean restrooms onboard, and a cafe serving coffee, cakes, hot food etc. A great range of information about tourism on the island is available to read and take with you. So glad we visited North Straddie, ... and used this vehicle ferry service.

Stradbroke Island is only a ferry trip away and Sea Stradbroke ferries can get you and your vechile over there in roughly an hour. Recommend to stay on the Island for a few nights as the cost of the trip is over a hundred dollars return but is a fair price for the distance you have to travel
