Was going to give it 4 well deserved stars but since last poster must have left at least one star off I added one as comp. We had the 4 course degustation voucher, the lobster soup was absolutely delish, seared tuna with avocado pleasing, fish and mash very yum and banana dessert was a nice finishing touch. Not much to chose from for our 3 kids so ended up with fries (very popular) and nuggets (not so). For us the four portions where absolutely perfect amount of calories, not that we were starving when we got there. Nice friendly service. Of course, it would feel more upmarket if they asked would you like to have the Chardonnay or Shiraz with your meal rather then "white or red". House white was OK. Having kids with us we were happy it wasn't a full house but busy enough to feel lively and popular. Great local.
dined here for a 8 course degustation dinner with a discount offer i had purchased, food was really interesting and tasty although small servings which was fine since we were only paying half price (if paid full price it is very expensive), inventive combination of ingredients with an asian influence. great cleansing soup for first course. interesting decor inside, but intimate venue. staff and service was very attentative and hospitable.
