Seafood @ Hornsby

I've lived in Sydney for 30+ years, and I have to say Seafood@Hornsby is the best seafood store I have ever shopped at apart from Pyrmont. Variety and freshness of their make other seafood shops pale in comparison. Sales staff is friendly and accommodating.

I have been going to Seafood@Hornsby for some 8 years and in all that time I have never had a negative experience with them. Everyone there is unfailingly patient when I spend ages trying to find the right size salmon tails! Coming from the UK, it is difficult because much of the fish is unfamiliar to me. They will also advise about which produce is economical, where it is from and how to cook it. Even when they are really busy they will give you undivided attention and help you to leave with exactly what you want. Everything is extremely fresh and their hygiene is exemplary. I for one never buy fish anywhere else. I love this place.

This is definitely a preferred seafood provider! They have a great range and everything is always nice and fresh. Pricing is fair but not cheap. Location is convenient, in Westfield near the supermarkets and other fresh food providers.

Don't bother. Their filleting skills are poor! I would go to woolies or coles first.

I shop locally for everything, but I will NOT be buying seafood from this store. I have recently moved to Hornsby and have found all the retailers to be lovely and friendly. Seafood at Hornsby is my only bad experience. I was writing down prices so that I could give this to my family in the country. They would then place their orders with me as I am taking a feast home for Xmas. I was told the store had a policy where, because of competition, they did not let any of their customers write down prices. Ironically, I would not have known that they were not competative until they told me this. I was simply going come back for a bulk order once I had been told how much to buy from the people I was transporting it to. I can however, thank Seafood at Hornsby for introducing me to the Sydney Fish Markets. I found everything I needed at great prices and was given service which actually made me laugh.
