Non-profit dedicated to combat marine pollution and raise awareness for the environmental damage caused by the fast-fashion industry!Established in 2015 by AJ Linke, Seaside Scavenge is an Australian non-profit organisation that runs waterway clean up events, where participants can trade the litter they collect at a pop-up market, filled with goods donated by the community.
It aims to help people connect the dots and understand that there's no away with single-use consumption. The vast majority of the items thrown away end up polluting the planet in one form or the other. Seaside Scavenge tries to encourage people to refuse, reduce, reuse and recycle as the means to lower our environmental impact on the planet.
