Sebastian's Italian Cafe Restaurant

food average priced and ok but we came just an hour before closing and had to wait long for service and while eating we were told the store was closing, seemed like get out now... but we sat finished and packed up the excess food n left, not going their anymore.

I am a foodie and chinese and italian are my favorite. Me and a friend of mine ordered the regular pizza and it was okay. As it is an italian restaurant, I was hpoing something very delicious to get served but it was delicious as expected. May be my expectatiosn were high but even though the pizza was okay.

I was very disappointed after bringing a group of ladies to lunch yesterday wanting to use my BIRTHDAY VOUCHER that was sent to me in the post. When booking i asked if i could use it at lunch and was told yes (they failed to tell me there was two menus to order from). After 14 friends had arrived i presented my voucher and was told i couldn't use it!!!! Ifelt cheated into a false sense of generosity on THEIR behalf and also didn't received my FREE bottle of complimentary wine for booking more than 6 guests. CHEATED as we spent almost $300 dollars at their restaurant. I guess that's one way of getting bums on seats HEY....Ripped off!!! The food however was nice

I visited Sebastian's for a mid-week lunch to celebrate a colleague's retirement with three other ladies from work.

I ordered the Aglio Olio Con Gamberi - juicy prawns sauteed in garlic, chilli and olive oil tossed through gluten free pasta spirals $30.50 (inc $3 surcharge for gluten free pasta)

The food was nice. A generous serving of prawns (about 10). I found it quite pricey. Service was polite but very minimal. We ordered wine by the glass and had finished our glasses before food arrived. We were not offered an opportunity to order more drinks.

Wait time between ordering and food was at least 40 minutes while all tables around us who arrived and ordered after us were served. No apologies or explanation given when questioned about or missing food.

Convenient location in Victoria Park but the food is ordinary. I had the pizza and it was ok, my friend had a burger it was ok, the lunch specials are reasonably priced but We found the food under whelming
