In terms of Food, they were all good and standard across nearby yum Cha places in the east. Try to get there early before 12 to avoid the crowd as it could get quite packed. Their waiters was friendly and but can be difficult to catch their attention at times. Will definitely go back for their dimsum if around the area.
The rude cashier even showed impatience on his expression & rush me off, & told me sarcastically that if I was so petty about the surcharge imposed using my charge card than I shouldn't be eating at the restaurant. No one (either Asian or Westerner alike, they are even bias among races if you notice) should tolerate this rude attitude of the cashier in this restaurant! Will not return to & recommend this restaurant as long as such attitude remains...
Lots and lots of staff but not a lot of service. Food is ok, fairly basic. It was pretty slow. Eftpos is $40 minimum, which is a bit of a joke. Our meal came to around $25, I told staff I don't have cash on me and she charged me a $2 'Eftpos fee'. Won't bother going back there.
We have been here a couple of times, and while the food is ok, the service has to be the worst ever in Melbourne Chinese restaurants / yum cha.
The last straw happened just today, on a not so busy Tuesday afternoon 2pm, decided to give it another try. Waited at the front counter for about 5 minutes when there were many empty tables. Was finally seated. Waiting staff didn't ask what tea we would like which was fairly basic in Asian cuisine. Waited for about 15 minutes, decided to leave. No menu, no tea. No one even bother asking why are we leaving.
Big thumbs down for service. Never ever coming back again!
