My car had the dashboard lights on and asked to diagnose the problem. They advised that couldn't read the car and charged me $80 plus GST saying that I had to take the car to the Holden dealership as only them could read the car.
I took the car to Reliable Automatics and Automotive in Albion and they were surprised that Selective Motors couldn't read the car. I asked if they were able to read the car for me. They confirmed and said that they wouldn't charge me if they didn't read the car. I thought that this was a fair treatment and agreed to leave the car to them. As expected they read the car and found the fault.
I rang Selective Motors and explained the situation and asked for a quote to repair the car. They haven't come back to me yet.
I will never use Selective Motors again, a waste of time and money. Be careful with theses guys.

As our mechanic informed you when you originally collected you vehicle, we cleared a number of low voltage codes however there was one code our machine couldn't read. This code you later informed us was a ECU fault. When you rang for a quote and to let us know about the code the mechanic stated that it had to go back to a dealer to reprogram new ECU. We are sorry that you feel you had a bad experience with us, however if you felt unhappy with the situation we would have been more than happy to explian it to you again.
Selective Motors have been caring fot my fleet of vehicles for sometime now and it certainly pays. Any small problem is fixed even if just dropped in for quote and he will fix it without any charge. being a dummy on motors , this certainly helps as Frank is a genius with diagnosing problems and fixing. My cars have never been better to drive.

These guys are fantastic! After a horrific quote off the back of an oil change from Lube Mobile we took our X-Trail to Selective Motors for a second opinion. Selective Motors were so helpful, they honestly saved us over $1000 from the bad and untrue quote that Lube Mobile slapped us with. They serviced our car perfectly and at an honest, fair price. We cant thank them enough HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!
Moral of the story is DONT TRUST LUBE MOBILE, ALWAYS GO TO SELECTIVE MOTORS FIRST!!!!
