Total waste of time

Such a waste of my time and my son in law who took car in. We live 3hrs away from Dandenong and they assured me by phone that quote was close- $6,200 (lower than what car is really worth) therefore not wasting my time.
Car was everything I had said it was- manual, one owner, excellent condition, only done 10,600km, service history available, one year registration on it, paperwork all ready and complete....their offer after was $5,000 because car was manual.....really??? isn't that what I had claimed it to be??? and then to add insult to injur

y they rang my son in law to tell him that they made a mistake and had quoted that 'HIGH' because the boss wasn't around.
A whole day wasted travelling !! Should have taken more notice of all the bad reviews they got ....not worth the effort!!! Stay away...nothing but con artists.
I entered my VIN number, and your system gave me a ball park of $12,500 for my car - I appreciate that this is a guide only. I have my inspection, and I'm offered $7,500 - a $5000 difference. Now you must admit, this is a very large difference. I can appreciate maybe $1500 either way, depending on the presentation and optional extras of the car, but a $5000 difference is a little hard to stomach. When I query the large discrepancy, I'm told that you're currently working off 2 databases as you're owned by Manheim auctions, and you're working on fixing the system. Not good enough.
