Traditional Korean cuisineThe expansive screen on the rear wall depicting a Korean country house is rather kitch, but it's the soul-warming traditional food that gets people to stay at this Korean hotspot in the city. Steaming cups of green tea and spicy appetizers like kimchee tofu get juices flowing in anticipation of generously-sized rice and noodle dishes and a side of dumplings.

We were due for a family dinner night so I let my niece pick the cuisine of which we were going to have and she chose Korean. I googled around a couple of places but found most of them being the more ‘fancier’ type restaurants around the city until I remembered of Seoul Korean Restaurant. I had been here once a very long time ago so decided that we go here as I recalled it being less formal but the food was still good. When we arrived, there was only our table plus one other. The waitress was very friendly and guided us with the dishes and explanation of each dish we queried. The food was yummy and we all enjoyed the dishes that we had ordered and shared amongst ourselves. I was very pleased with the service and quality.
It has been a long time since I have ventured to Seoul Korean - not because there was anything wrong with my experiences - just because my worksite has moved and it wasn't as convenient to get there. However, I was in the area this week and managed to slip a visit in. It was still really good. instead of my usual bento box I went for the bibimbab which was excellent. Still great value and I had excellent service.
