Last weekend I made a purchase online which hasn’t been delivered yet thanks to the appalling service provided by Couriers Please.
The driver kept the parcel for two days and attempted delivery on the third only after contacting their customer service.
We were not home at the time and they didn’t leave the parcel in the mail ...read more
Sephora is my favorite make up and skin care store when I travel overseas so I was thrilled that we had a store in Melbourne. Unfortunately the store has the stock and all the products that I want but not the staff to serve you, or being able to find a consultant to assist you with your purchase and then I queued up for a very long time to pay for my purchases. Avoid going to the store after 3pm on a week day as it is filled with school aged girls putting make up on, so you can't get to view the products, let alone to get near them to purchase them. Disappointing experience compared to the other Sephora stores.
Finally here to Australia, finally here to Melbourne. Sephora is my favourite beauty store when i travel internationally. I can spend hours in there going through make up, skin care, accessories. The first time i walked pass the Melbourne store there was a massive line so i didn't want to wait and said I'll come back another day. The 2nd time within few weeks of grand opening, still a massive line. The 3rd time, i ended up lining up because i don't know when i will have an opportunity to enter if i don't line up. Just like the other Sephora internationally, its set up with different sections for different needs. And within those sections will have all the top known brands that cater for that specific need eg: brow station - all about eye brows. The one thing they didn't have was a section for blow dryers. Unless i completely missed it but i was actually after a specific blow dryer but couldn't seem to find it. Prices are slightly higher or sone what similar after conversion if ...read more
Another global entrant into our shore. Ive been shopping at Sephora for years overseas, love the range of collections they have of their own branding, in addition stocking all the major brands all in the one store. Its almost paradise for any females having everything in the one store, difference from having shop at the major department stores to normally get all the major brands in the one place. Given that its fairly new this store, they still have security at the front with a long queue setup for those days in which they may get an overflow of people. Not certain why its still there, as the main entrance is wide enough to simply walk through. Cashier queue mid-week was quite lengthy earlier in the week, again can probably blame that towards the Christmas shopping rush. One of my favorite stores, glad its more available locally.
