I would not recommend that anyone do their cert 3 in aged care on the Gold Coast with setsolution the teacher is always late for class and not very reliable at all doesn't turn up for placement checks and doesn't hand all student work book in so as they cant receive their cert finished back in May and still no cert for many if not any students like a waste of time and government money
I do not recommend doing the certificate 3 in aged care on the Gold Coast with set solutions. The teacher was very unreliable, this person was late for class every lesson up to 30min to an hour late. 8wks after finishing placement most of the students in our class still do not have our certificates, our module books have gone missing as well as our placement books were not managed by the teacher. During our 3wk placement I believe the teacher visited us twice, our class was split into two groups in two different aged care facility's, both of our groups had the same result with the teacher. It was not/has not been a good experience, this course was also govt funded and it feels like we all wasted our time going to class 2 days per week for 9wks then 3wk work placement.
