This is hands down my favourite restaurant in Sydney. 7-course degustation meal is delicious. My favourite dishes are the imperial beef ribs and sticky date pudding.

Besides the food though, the service is WONDERFUL. The owner, David, knows how to treat his guests. We have been visiting Seven Lanterns for over five years but we have been treated like loyal customers from day one. If you have an opportunity to ever chat with David, say yes! He is funny, entertaining and welcoming.

I recommend all my friends to visit Seven Lanterns!

Came here all the way from Manly after reading great reviews. Had the 7 course digestation menu, small portions - great flavours - but not worth $65 a head or the drive from Manly.

Doesn't get any better than this! Amazing food, wonderful service. Best restaurant in the shire.
