SGS Australia Townsville laboratory is located in the industrial area of Garbutt, a suburb of Townsville. Townsville is convenient to all road and rail transport routes from within the Northern Queensland, as well as domestic and international air freight. As the major business centre in North Queensland, Townsville provides the required infrastructure and technical labour force required for the Laboratory function.
SGS Australia Townsville Lab is dedicated to providing a complete approach to all your analytical needs. In addition to satisfying your analytical requirements, SGS Townsville Lab is also able to provide additional support and services either in conjunction with analytical testing or as a separate project. Our team of technical staff and chemists are able to offer guidance on regulatory and compliance issues while providing the level of technical support required to meeting objectives.
SGS Australia Townsville Lab operates data collation, quality control and reporting by the CCLAS Laboratory Information Management System. This facilitates an industry leading ability in processing, reporting and assessing data.
The laboratory operates on a five day per week 16 hour per day basis. When required operates on seven days a week to provide the required production level and client service.

SGS Australia Townsville Lab performs shipment and umpire analyses routinely for the SGS Minerals Group. The geochemical capabilities include:
