We found Shades and Tones through Hi Pages. We only had a small job but it was finicky; 3 gables (which were high up) and a retaing wall to be painted. Tim responded and quoted much quicker and in a more prefessional manner than the other tradesmen.At first I thought his quote was high but it was in fact less than others who I had to continually follow up to get responses from them. Tim was very obliging and Jesse worked around my requests to have the job completed sooner rather than later. I was impressed with the workmanship and would certainly have Tim and the team back to complete further painting work for us in the future.

We engaged Shade and Tones to paint our townhouse prior to sale. Easy to quote and the job that Sam did was fantastic with the colours perfect. If we need to to engage painters again it will be Shades and Tones.

Tim provided an excellent service. He and Jessie quoted the job same day as I requested and the job started a week later and was completed on time, budget and the result was first class. Highly recommended.

Tim and his team were of this highest order. I had a big job for them to do - repainting the outside of the house (rendered) and every room in our home. 4 Bed, 2 bath and a garage - so a big job. Tim's quote was very reasonble, his timing perfect and his flexibility when it came to doing the work was great. We had a number of things being done and Tim and his team worked in well with the other trades (would have been easy for them all to fall over each other). Tim proved his ability when he painted the bathroom and the colour was perfect - for a bathroom - but not for the whole house. He suggested I might re-think as the colour was a bit bright for a whole house. He had already purchased all the paint so I was concerned about how much it would cost to replace it. Tim asked me what I wanted to achieve, then re-mixed the paint with a bit of this colour, a bit of that and big splash of the original colour. No wasted paint and great colour.
