Beautiful chest of drawers made for me recently from good quality Australian hardwood, which quite frankly. I simply cannot find elsewhere in Sydney to match. I was negotiated a reasonable price, professionally advised the delivery times and personally had no trouble with the whole process. Make sure you negotiate to get the best price you can, their sale periods are worth seeking out. As a Rozelle local, I have purchased numerous items from Shaker throughout the years, and see myself coming back as a loyal customer. Love the furniture, it is a place worth seeking out.
overcharged me on the agreed price, and delivered with the wrong handles. Repeatedly ignored calls, emails and texts for both issues. They were rude, disrespectful with bad customer service. Despite trying to resolve the issues they continue to ignore me - remains unresolved. A shame that they chose to behave this way for such simple issues with a simple resolution.
Latest correspondence from October said they would call me in December! They have now provided the right handles - after sending a text message to say they had been in the shop for two weeks!
Love the furniture, however management is extremely arrogant. Continually chased up for completion and delivery times. Shop elsewhere for as good a product at a much much cheaper price. Overall disappointed.
Wow - I am amazed by your review. 16 months after ordering our furniture we still have not had a resolution. No reply to emails in over a year - they are just not interested in resolving their overcharge. The issues with my order should have been resolved via a simple refund. They have missed out on thousands of dollars that we have spent on furniture since (a whole house worth) and many many recommendations we have given to avoid at all cost.
I have no agenda other than to share a terrible experience. Clearly there are both positive and negative reviews here so hopefully others can make their own assessments based on these reviews.
Personally, I wont be shopping there ever again.
