Shalom Kingsford Restaurant

Shalom Kingsford Restaurant have been serving Kingsford for more than a decade now and still going strong. It occupies a standard size shop (for this part of town) with seats all around. They don't do any fancy decor, just red walls and standard furniture but it is surprisingly quite comfortable.

They serve a wide variety of Indonesian food. The bulk of their main offering are their flame grilled chicken served with either peanut sauce or chili sauce (which, by the way, you can dictate the level of hotness of the sauce to suit).

They also sells meatballs, noodles, chicken (and lamb) satay with peanut sauce, and everything in the middle. You would order your food at the counter first, and have them brought to your table. The food comes relatively quick and they tasted quite authentic and makes you want to want more. For desserts, they have drinks like avocado juice which is one of our favourites whenever we go there for a meal.

One of the Indonesian's restaurant in Sydney, the taste of the foods are delicious and some of the menu are spicy, but, good for everyone's who are like spicy food :) Good services and reasonable price

Cheap asian eats on Anzac Parade - there are a few and Shalom is one of them. We had a fried chicken with shalom sauce as well as a fried chicken with balinese sauce. Both were extremely spicy so beware.
