I stumbled upon this busy little Shanghai restaurant & decided to give it a go and have been back several times now. As the name suggests, panfried dumplings & pork buns are their house specialty and definitely a must order. They are big babies & the skin on both panfried dishes are just the right thickness & a very crispy bottom! The fillings are generous, tasty, fresh & not oily. The pork buns are filled with soup bursting in your mouth as you bite into it. Similarly, the Xiao Long Bao are delicious & bursting with soup, although the skin was slightly thicker then for my liking but this is only a minor point. The wontons or silk purses has a silky thin skin encasing other delicious fillings & the soup is flavoursome & fresh. Cold appetizers definitely whey the appetite and I would recommend the wheat gluten with black fungus which is sweet. The sweet & sour pork ribs are a must, glossy, chewy & tasty.
