Absolutely fantastic horse arenas, the quality and the pride their workmanship is first class, being horse owners themselves they have a true appreciation for what is needed and what works. They are friendly and very reasonably priced if you want a quality arena. If there is any issue they are very approachable and accomodating. They provide detailed instructions on how to care for the arena and when followed, I have had no issues what so ever with my arena. They came highly recommended by friends who have also had their areas created by Shape it up, they were so happy with their experience, they literally insisted that I use them too. I couldn't be happier. Great work guys.
I have nothing but praise for this company. I have the riding pony pemberly dior one of australias top show ponies and would not have used this company if they were not the best. i found the work to be exceptional and they took the time to explain the procedures and even came out to rerrake it before i got my bike to do it. i found clint and renata to be professional and I love my arena. My instructors all say it is the best surface they have ever ridden on so I would highly recommend them for their exceptional personal skills and workmanship.
I would suggest to anyone who wants a rideable arena to steer clear of this company! There are much better construction companies who will be much CHEAPER to go through. I made the mistake of getting an arena built by Shape it up and now I am left with a disaster of an arena that is completely unrideable during winter.
Not to mention the amount of debt I am left in and now have top fork out more money to get the arena re done with a correct base! I have been totally ripped off and when I bought the issue up with the company they made it out to be my fault because I rode on the arena well I'm sorry I didn't pay over 20k to build an arena I can't ride on!!!! The whole point of building the arena was so I could ride during winter, if I could only ride during summer I would NOT have wasted 20k down ...read more
Had a similar experience and would like to talk with you about your arena but can't find your details despite you invitation for contact.
I thought it was common knowledge with us horse lovers that you know to let the granite sand compact prior to riding on it. Granite sand is the base and if you do not let it set it will become unrideable due to being 'chopped' up.
I let mine set and have had no issues whatsoever whether it be summer or winter.
I thought any horse person would know that arenas need time to adjust and when the company said not to ride on it til the base settled then it is not their fault but yours because you did not follow their instructions. I followed instructions and after a week to settle the arena, the base has withstood torrential rain over 4 inches in twenty minutes and other friends arenas were ruined and they had used other construction companies, mine came out without any problems and I had a clinic with fifteen people riding on the surface after the rain. How dare you make accusations against a company like this and not give your name and address, IT is cowardly and if i was the company I would find out who you are and sue you for deformation of character.
