Sheldon & Hammond

Just a quick note to say thank you to Sheldon and Hammond at Asquith. I recently had issues with my torch's and after speaking with them sent both torches and charger to them, not only did they check both torch's but replaced the charger under warranty. This is on very old torches that have had a lot of use. The service was friendly, and fast and nothing was too much trouble, Great effort thank you very much.

There mark up for their own profit is normally 100%. On a kitchen knife it may not matter but they are the celestron telescope importer. A Celestron telescope here in Australia costs twice as much as as it should. Mind you they mark up everything. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I am writing to say a great big thank you to Sheldon & Hammond.

I sent my Zippo wind proof lighter to them on 2nd October to ask if they could fix the hinge which was a bit loose. They returned the lighter to me on the 10th October with hinge fixed and new insert. Great work and speedy too.

Old fashioned service, website still under construction but let me relate recent transaction: They are distributors for Maglite torches in Australia and I had a twenty something year old Maglite where the batteries had leaked and destroyed the internals. I could not even get the cap off it was so bad. I sent my old torch to them via Aust Post and received it back, fully rebuilt with new switch & seal,tail cap, seals, spring and used replacement barrell. They then returned it by courier within 5 days. The amazing thing is they did all of the above free of charge - now THAT is service
