Please dont build with Sherrion Homes. You will have to wait for months before they start building. Mine is not started yet even after 6 months wait and now they are asking for more money saying our material cost has raised. If i ask them to cancel contract they will charge me 20%. I building my third house,never seen any builder asking you more money than what you signed in contract.

The tag line "Building made easy" is probably the only thing funny about what Sherridon did along our road to home ownership. 13 months from start to finish, with no compensation, high staff turn over, very poor quality work, no one returning emails or calls, large mistakes in the build, etc. All the things you hear people talk about when they have a horrible experience with a builder. What's particularly worrying is that, it's not just a couple of bad supervisors as I'd originally expected.

We eventually got in contact with Hus and Imix who are higher in the company, despite their positions, they seem incapable of answering/returning phone calls or emails, they will often give you the line "I'll call you back in 5 minutes" then ignore your calls for a week or more. - Extremely Poor Quality – Poor workmanship as per a 62 page defect report (followed by a second 33 page report on second inspection). Sherridon internal standards are below the building code and they’re banking on you not getting an independent inspector. There is NO quality control AT ALL!
- Poor Rectification of Defects – You have to constantly hound them to fix the defects in your house and pick them up yourself.
- Communication – Non-existent – They’ll contact you if they want money. No responses to emails/calls, everything is customer initiated and the onus is on you to find out where you are at (if they respond at all). No idea on timeframes.

We went through the colour selection at the end of last year and all plan and documents have submitted to the developer for final approval. Unfortunately the developer rejected the colour scheme of the roof tile saying that it is too dark . Then the person from colour selection asked me to visit the gallery again. Then I was asking the designer whether I could change the front render and the garage door colour to match the roof tiles. Apparently to do these changes I need to pay extra $220 for colour re-selection. The worst ever designer that I have came across, no knowledge at all. Management should tell the client that the overall colour is too dark and it does not match to the developer requirement . Now that I am only allow to change the roof tiles because the developer reject the roof tiles colour.
