I always have a great experience at Shi. The staff are friendly and I always feel comfortable being myself. I have seen Teni and Vee who are both lovely. My hair is really easy to look after and I'm always getting compliments even when I am due for my next appointment.

Appalling service. Ruined my hair and my top. Charged $233 to take my previously blonde hair to an awful greyish brown (I had requested light brown and had photos). The colour was at least 4 shades darker than Id asked for. Took inches off when I asked for a trim. Spilt dye all over my new Country Road cream knit. I told the stylish I wasnt happy with my hair and they said you will get used to it. Reception staff bombard me with compliments to try to dissuade me from complaining. My friends, family and partner all could not find a nice word to say about my hair. Emailed a complaint the next business day (including photos of my ruined top) and received no response. I had to call a few days later only to be told they take no responsibility for the awful cut/colour and ruined top. Told me it was my own fault for wearing a long-sleeved top to a hair appointment (!). Had to spend the same amount again to have it fixed by other salon, who did an outstanding job ...read more
I had the same atrocious service. $310 later came out with grey and purple hair. They left me in the hands of the apprentice who left the toner on too long....because the apprentice was too busy talking to the other staff about properties they were looking at after work. I rang as soon as I got home and saw it in good light and they told me that after a few washes it should come right. Really, after paying you $310! I went straight back for them to fix where they were rude and I ended up with horrible brown...better than purple and grey I guess. Worst service I have ever had from a hairdresser.

Simply disgusted by this place. Worst service I have ever seen. The management was even rude to his own staff! One hairdresser was so rough when giving me a head message, my neck twitched and I sat up asking her to stop! I was then not even shown the hair color chart. My hair ended up a different color I wanted. When I complained, they told me to wash my hair 20 times and use Head and Shoulders to strip my hair. When I said that wasn't the answer I was expecting, the management then said there was nothing else they could do and hung up! I know, crazy stuff, ah? Clearly he thinks he doesn't need clients! Snobby too. Very disappointed by the whole experience and shocked by the way I was treated. Need a good hairdresser? Go to real hairdressers in Melbourne or Sydney. Amen.
