Shiels Jewellers

I will never shop at shiels ever again. I would give not stars if I could. I'm currently having huge issues with this company. The management of the store at the sunshine plaza was so rude and couldn't care less about what had happened. I brought a braclet believing/told was it solid gold to find out 2 weeks later it was hollow. They say it's my own fault for not realizing. The staff are clearly not trained and also there items are of very very poor quality. DO NOT SHOP HERE IF YOU KNOW WHATS GOOD FOR YOU!!

If I could give this business a worse rating I would. My mother bought me a bracelet from shiels for my birthday which I thought was an odd shape and didn't like, so she gave me the receipt to exchange it. When I went into the store, the staff were extremely rude and said that either myself or my mother had bent the bracelet (hence the odd shape) and refused to provide a refund, exchange or credit note. They refused to even consider that they had sold us a defective item as their "staff are trained not to do so". So I'm stuck with an ugly, broken, useless item as the birthday gift from my parents. Do yourself a favour and shop somewhere else. With so many other better jewelers around, I don't understand why anyone in their right mind would purchase a sub-par product from shiels. My mother included!

Although Shiels offer low prices, which is ideal for a lot of people, their jewellery isn't of good quality, nor do they support that it is. I had a piece that broke after wearing it for two days and had a huge ordeal for them to repair it even with my receipt. I felt they weren't in touch with customers, not very friendly and don't guarantee the workmanship of their jewellery. Unfortunately i don't recommend them, except for those looking for low priced jewellery.
