A great outback pub. Lots of memorabilia there to look at, friendly owners Cath and Dave and possibly the best steak sandwich I've ever had. Louth is a tiny village on the Darling River, with a school with about 4 students, tennis courts, Royal Flying Doctor rooms for when they fly in once a month- and a great bush gold course. The locals love their golf and often play a round on the weekends, before heading to Shindy's Inn for a few cool ones. We dropped in here twice during our stay at near-by Trilby Station, and plan to come back for the annual race meeting in August, where they tell us the population of Louth grows from about 20 to 4,000.
