Shine Early Learning Centre

Shine Early Learning Centre provides high quality care and education for 28 children aged from 2 to 5 years of age. We are open from 8am until 6pm Monday to Friday.

Our educational program is implemented by a University trained, specialist Early Childhood Teacher.

The program provides opportunities for children to explore their own interests, develop meaningful relationships as well as time for focused learning. Parent participation is welcomed and encouraged.

Our educational program includes, but is not limited to:
Brain Gym - Exercises the whole brain enhancing reading, writing and emotional intelligence skills.
Project Work - Provides children with opportunities to learn how to learn.
Sharing Time - Encourages children to share their interests with their peers to enhance self estem and to practice language skills. Children bring a special item such as a photograph, item from nature, drawing, or something they have made to share and as a focus for a group discussion.
Music - Basic concepts of music and playing music are explored with the focus on enjoyment.
Literacy & Numeracy - Children are exposed to a number of different concepts that form the foundations of early literacy and numeracy. Each child is encouraged to explore these concepts according to their interest level.
Science and Technology - The children have access to technology including a computer and digital camera to document and explore their own learning.
