Shingle Inn Broadbeach

To say that my overall experience was unpleasant would be an understatement. The service was absolutely terrible. The main waitress was nothing but rude and did not create a good experience at all. The food was salty and overdone. Overall I wish I had of spent $100 on buying food to cook my family breakfast rather than paying it to receive such poor quality hospitality.

Very unpresent service and wrong order taking & no sorry from any staff member...Very disappointed

One star just for being open - As regular locals to this particular venue for over 2 years now, today, was our last day ever for breakfast at the Shingle Inn. My husband and i have enjoyed the hospitality and food as our "favourite place" here at the Shingle Inn, for the past 18 months or so in Broadbeach after trying many breakfast venues as our Saturday/Sunday reward after either walking or riding to Broadbeach each week-end. In recent times however, our order has either been wrong, cold, fried eggs instead of poached, forgotten something or the staff taking the order just hasn't bothered to listen to the customer....at all.... Very disappointed, we noticed today the place directly opposite was PACKED...which is why we agreed to give this place one more chance... sorry for us because yet again - just disappointed.

Management has changed and this place has seriously gone down hill. They have messed up my order of a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich UNTOASTED on wholemeal 6 times in a row.

Great for catering, nice cakes, slices, muffins etc. The manager is lovely.
