Our organisations experiences with Shiny Web design have always been professional and prompt. Despite several changes to our design requirements, Shiny were always reactive to our requests and were able accomodate our changes, they also made further reccomendations to improve the final design & product. We were extremely happy with the final design, completed within agreed times and costs. Great Service!!
I was not happy at all with the service I received. Initially I found the man friendly and willing enough. I then used this company for some months to try to build my website. I was given an initial rough cost with only a verbal quote (my bad) but the reality was that he kept adding on more and more and often without notice. I was on two occasions sent invoices I had no idea were coming and was sent texts to say an invoice had been sent by email and if it wasn't paid within a few days he would stop my site working. On one occasion he did this anyway and I was flabbergasted. I felt manipulated and intimidated by the power he held and trapped by the amount I had already spent. I found the work done on my site to be very limited in its scope and yet he always said it was fantastic. I became very unhappy as every avenue was a dead end. In the end I simply had to find help elsewhere. I know this is not how others work as the new company I use are very professional.
Further to the last review, amicable contact with this company has now lead to a clearer understanding. This latest communication has resolved the concern for which the review was posted. Being not able to remove the review due to terms and conditions, we would like to amend the review in light of these new developments. We would like to state that Shiny Web Design were reliable and responsive in their communication with us, were flexible in how they worked with us and by way of example willingly allowed us to have editing rights with which to add or remove photos and text, and did their best to produce a website to our requirements, within a very quick timeframe. We are thankful for this service they provided. We feel sure that anyone dealing with this company would find they would experience an equal level of commitment to service and fluidity of communication.
