Shire Nannies is a unique nanny agency based in the Sutherland Shire. ‘Unique’ because we focus solely on providing local families with high quality nannies and babysitters in casual, full time, part time, live-in and live-out situations.

We take all the hard work out of finding the right nanny for your family. We begin with a thorough recruitment process that includes screening and interviewing of potential nannies, verifying references and conducting background checks. we follow this with spending extensive one on one time with our potential nannies to ensure that their outstanding experience and qualifications are matched with a personality that demonstrates their real enthusiasm for working with children and providing a caring, loving and respectful environment.

We then work closely with our families and nannies as part of the matching process, ensuring the right fit to develop strong foundations for a lasting and successful relationship. We also provide ongoing support to our families and our nannies.

Shire Nannies is directed by Erin Hewett who first and foremost is a mother of two young children “Children are very precious and highly impressionable, the first five years of a child’s life actually shapes much of their development as an adult. This is why I choose to surround my children with loving, positive, stable and trustworthy people. As director of shire nannies I am passionate about recruiting nannies that will ensure the home they work in is safe, loving, secure and stimulating. Erin is also an Early Childhood teacher who has studied and worked in the childcare industry for over 13 years.
