Shoppingtown Hotel

Love coming here to play Bingo, well organised, friendly people and a nice venue with plenty of

parking making it the best place to go. Win or lose it's great fun.

There are a few things about this place that makes it more than just your standard suburban pub and the one thing that continues to draw me back is the magnificent view of the city that you get from the balcony. I could sit on that balcony all day looking at the view (okay, I'm exaggerating, but it is definitely worth the trip up here). The other thing about this place is that the Shoppingtown Hotel is more than just your local pub that has live bands, they actually have bands playing who have been around since the 80s. Everytime I've been up here there have been advertisements from bands that I thought had vanished into obsolescence (though they are now playing at the Shoppingtown Hotel). They also have a really cool beer garden. However, the biggest negative about this place is that it can be really hard getting to if you don't have a car, or aren't planning on driving. Still, I've got to come up here one day to see one of those classic eighties bands.

We recently stayed at the hotel and primarily were very impressed with room size and quality of the family room.

I been there heaps of times with my cousins and I really enjoyed the food but the music was a bit too loud for me.

A great family pub that serves good quality meals quickly. Prices are average to above average for pub meals. I shared a seafood platter with my daughter and that cost $32. Good service and plenty of car parking too.
