Dance assists with social, physical and emotional development whilst forming friends for life.Show Dance is a dance school based in The Gap, Brisbane, teaching ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap and acro. We teach ages from tiny toes to seniors. Established in July 2013 by Cheyene Smythe, our philosophy is to nurture the hopes and dreams of our 100 students with opportunities and encouragement to reach their potential doing what they love, dance. Cheyene Smythe has been dancing for over 15 years and has danced and performed all over Brisbane in paid productions and eisteddfods. Cheyene has completed a full time dance course at Conroy Performing Arts College in 2010 which included instruction by industry recognised teachers such as Lucy Chambers, Jet, Matt Lee, Michael Edge, Jasmine Meakin, Louis Pinto, Lucas Newland and many more.
Show Dance believes that dancing with the feet is one thing, but dancing with the heart is another. At Show Dance we dance to express not to impress. All Students are welcomed like one of the Show Dance family.

A fabulous dance school. I continue to be impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, the affordability of classes and the end-of-year concert, the flexibility of payment options and the relaxed feeling in the dance classes. Each of my children have enjoyed their dance lessons and participation in the fantastic concerts. When ALL of our expectations are being exceeded, why would we look elsewhere?
