Shower Dr

The Shower Doctor were an answer to a prayer. I was looking at what I thought would be an expensive shower rebuild, it their quote came in well below what was eexpected. From the time I agreed to accept the quote, until the job was complete, the process was trouble free. The price staff were always there to answer any query. They organised my warranty cover and even organised a plumber to do some extra work unrelated to the job.

We had a major leak in our ensuite shower. Unfortunately insurance wouldn't cover it so it was looking to who could.
The Shower Dr was one of our options and had Rhys over soon for a visit. He gave a detailed explanation of the problems, and the repair options. As part of this we also got our main bathroom shower redone too as it was close to showing similar wear.
Rhys was great at responding to the queries we had about the quote to ensure we were comparing quotes like for like.
We enjoyed being able to choose our own tiles. Having the inclusion of the shower screen, mixer and shower head saved us time and effort sourcing these. We had a leak in our ensuite shower recess and I wanted a specialist to do the job. The Shower Dr was our first call, and Rhys responded with a prompt visit. He gave a detailed explanation of the problems, and the repair options. I also wanted the half shower screen for the shower over the bath in the main bathroom, replaced with something that stopped water getting onto the floor right where I had to step out of the bath. While it was a difficult set up, he had an option that did the job well. No more falls! The main bathroom was the first to be tackled followed by the ensuite a fortnight later. The quality of the workmanship showed by Meelis (the main bathroom) and Joe (the ensuite) was impressive. They took great care to keep noise and dust to a minimum, and left both rooms looking like new, and spotlessly clean afterwards. I highly recommend The

I had a bad leak in my bathroom and the team came to the rescue. They explained, they tested, they quoted and called to explain everything. I had a question about the work, they responsed in writing and explained everything. Their excellent communication was really appreciated. Today I went and looked at the finished product. The repairs they did the the rotten timber cause by the leak was all fixed. The tiles I chose look fantastic and the shower is amazing. I would be happy to recommend this company to anyone who needs help with a shower issue. The esitmated, they communicated, they did excellent work. Thank you very much, it looks fantatisc.

Complete bathroom rebuild. We've ended up with an adequate outcome. Here are my beefs.
1. We are several weeks over schedule. I recall an estimate of 2 weeks start to completion. This flat needs to earn us money - we can't afford to have it off line unnecessarily.
2. I had to contact the project manager several times to get things finished off (holes in plaster mostly). Still waiting on the last details to be fixed. This delay meant that I haven't been able to paint it on the days I had set aside for this.
3. The quality of the work is tradesmanlike and occasionally a little sloppy - gaps between tiles and cornice, under the vanity kick etc that I have ended ...read more
