is a non-contact, Karate-based form martial arts with an emphasis on developing a person's own unique style. Open to both Women and Men of all ages. Great for both fitness and self-defense. Alan Musa is the Founder, creator and Sensei (instructor) of Shu Ha Ri Martial Arts and he has been involved in martial arts for 15 years. He achieved the level of 1st Dan Black Belt in a traditional karate style, but has the reputation of "not sparring like most people".
He says: "Above all, martial arts should be an enjoyable experience where a person can learn a lot about themselves. For me, the fitness and self-defense is a natural by-product and bonus that comes from doing something I enjoy."
Alan is a very good teacher who knows how to impart his knowledge effectively, which is manifested in the speed at which his students learn and progress.
