I love japanese food, however, this place doesn't impress me. It's a very popular restaurant but I just find their dishes to be subpar. The sushi is always too sticky and has a higher rice to filling ratio. The takoyaki also is barely filled. Prices are decent, but I just don't think the food is as good as other places I've been to. I do really enjoy their ramen bar up the road though.

New way of ordering using the iPad which connects to the kitchen straight after order is placed, resulting in a faster order arrival, full image menu and reducing human error caused by miscommunication. The seasonal/limited menu is still available. One disappointment is the bottled coffee is no longer stocked.

Authentic and delicious! Fish is whatever is freshly acquired, the soup is delicious, very good udon. They even stock the bottled coffee I've been looking for for a while! It is very crowded and popular with customers queuing for seats. Booking in advance is recommended.
