My first passion was playing tea parties with my dolls. The tea sets were bone china and the interested remained with me. So of course I chose to study ceramics to learn how to make a perfect teapot.
Later, as I began setting up my own home I was always looking for a butter dish, which would fit the butter. Not having any luck I began to realise the only way would be to make one. Since then I enjoy creating all kinds of kitchenware that will look beautiful as well as function.
Working with clay has never ceased to interest me with every kiln fired there is always something new to discover and improve upon.
I am inspired by the surrounding of Flora and the local dragonfly in my area of the Blue Mountains. I also am interested in the Architecture of Islam, the repetitive patterns that are adorned on Working with clay has never ceased to interest me with every kiln fired there is always something new to discover and improve upon.
