Sideways Deli Cafe

An inner west gem, Sideways Deli Cafe is a family friendly cafe much loved by locals, offering plenty of healthy options, as well as dairy free and gluten free choices.

A friend and I shared the roast pumpkin salad with seeds and dukkah and the waitress very considerately brought out our lunch already portioned across two plates. It was a sufficiently substantial meal but we still managed to fit in a delicious vegan blueberry cheesecake.

Great local corner cafe with friendly staff and delicious brunch with a generous portion. Always busy and packed with locals in the weekend. Love the vibe. Do get in early to avoid the wait :)

Great back street cafe. Food and device always on point. Green eggs are spectacular and the coffee always does the trick.

Sunday brunch nightmare. 60 people crammed into a space for 40. Truly uncomfortable and over the top noise. Shame really as the food was great and service generally good - apart from one unpleasant wait staff. Won't be going back.

Great food - I had the lamb wrap, really fresh and delicious. I have been back a few times and it has always been excellent. It can get very busy as it is not a big place, but if you don't mind waiting for a bit, the food is really good.
