Singapore House

Have not been to Singapore House in quite a long time so when my old work mates mentioned this place for a catch up over dinner I didn't object. I do remember Singapore House food the first time I ever tried this place - loved it! This time around I decided to try the 'Sticky Pork' Dish as my main with a serve of some rice. I am glad I got the rice to break up the dish. Though the pork was cooked nicely, I found the flavoring too sweet and overpowering that in the end I didn't really enjoy it unfortunately. That was a shame because I was really looking forward to it being a hit. My workmates though enjoyed their dishes so next time I think I might stick with the Butter Chicken, at least I know that would be amazing!!

As you would expect the dcor is delightful. You can order from a street food, mains menu or both. The food is delicious and I have never had to wait overly long for the array of dishes my table orders. This place has become a regular.

Food was delicious, service attentive, but not overbearing. Great buzz and full by 7:30pm on Saturday night. Good for a group or a date. Great decor reminiscent of colonial Singapore.



This will definitely become a regular when we're in Adelaide.

It was a Thursday night and the place was packed which was a good sign. Attentive service despite the crowds. We ordered a variety of meals to share and all were excellent - the rendang was one of the tastiest that I've had. The atmosphere was great. Thoroughly enjoyed.
