Singh Movers

Although we booked through Singh Movers, we were charged by Oz Cheap Movers. They seem to be the same company.

Singh Movers/Oz Cheap Movers completed our interstate move from Victoria to South Australia, but the delivery was three days late and $200 more expensive than the price confirmed in writing. Their explanations for the delay, which was significant to us as we were in self-quarantine without our belongings, were inconsistent. Deceptive, Negligent and Untrustworthy. BEWARE!
Worst dealings in customer service my husband and I have ever come across. Singh Movers did not deliver our belongings to our address as their truck was 'too big' . Instead of reorganizing a delivery or at least a refund we were forced to have our belonging dropped off at a friends house and had to use a different company to complete the job . Singh Movers refused to respond and have not even acknowledged us They have taken our money and provided an incomplete service that left us further out of pocket. This is fraudulent and I have applied for our case to be investigated.

We hired Singh removalists for an interstate run, upon arrival at my home after being 2 hours late with no communication it was a rush to load our furniture ( which we had paid for a four tonne truck ) only about 2 tonne or half our items were taken we were told this was all they would put on the truck, no real care was given to our belongings some of which were damaged in transportation. Items that we wanted to take and were within the 4 tonne space we paid for were left behind . Hence we had extra cost in removal of these belongings through alternative methods. Once at the destination when questioned about our concerns and paying for a complete service and only received a portion of the service we paid sing movers to do, the owner/ manager / authority figure became hostile flatly said (**** insert foul language from authority figure****)and held us to ransom ordered the driver to leave unless we paid the remainder of the balance owing. So disappointed I would never recommend to anyone or use them again. I used them before when they were at $60/hour. Now its 110/hour. First they are as expensive as others for similar sized trucks, just maybe $10 cheaper than reputable movers in Vic. They are not careful at all with your belongings- a few of our furniture was damaged in the move. They were Not on time-we had to wait at least a few hours-Unreliable!!One of the movers just kept staring and had no clue how to move things. Just be very careful if you are trying to save money, the cost can work out to be the same if not more than other better movers like vic movers.
