This is another one of those pubs that I actually don't mind all that much despite there being little to make it actually stand out from the many other pubs that dot the Sydney CBD. I've been here a few times and always found the place to be nice and relaxed and the staff to be pretty cool. It is mainly a restaurant, but they also have a sports bar on the George St side of the pub, and while small, I have found that it is a great place to sit down and watch a game or two. It is also one of those fairly unpretentious places, though not really a place to go dancing. Still, while I can't put my finger on it (which means that it is probably the service that I receive) I do quite like this place. Okay, I can't comment about the food (since there is only so much I can eat) but it is a decent place for a beer.
