The bad: My wife and my son both ordered steak, cooked medium. They both got steak that was beyond well done. My wife said her steak tasted stale, an my son couldn't even cut his with a steak knife it was so tough.

$36 for an eye fillet served with an inedible white gelatinous substance pretending to be mashed potato! Our wait staff happily exchanged for fries which were overly salty but at least they were made from real potatoes not a powder substitute. Do yourself a favour, don't bother minus 5 stars
I have recently revisited Sizzler at Kogarah during a Saturday night and the prices seem to have gone up by a bit, while the place is still filled with customers, mostly families with kids.
The place appears to have been kept the same, which is probably not so great as the atmosphere and the furniture seem like they are about to meet their expiry date. The staffs seems to be stretched to the limit, with occasions where they ran out of plates and dishes of high popularity happening very often, although they were still friendly considering the circumstances. The cleanliness also looked a little abandoned, with most cutleries having water spots, and the mens urinal in the restroom producing highly unpleasant stench.
I ordered their beef ribs, and it was very soft. The baked potato companion was also done well and was soft. The steak, however, was overcooked as per their usual standard.
