On my first visit, I walked in and asked the sales person if they could measure my daughter's foot so we could try some shoes. They said 'oh, there's really no need because they'll know what fits and what doesn't once we have the shoes on her'. I was disappointed with that. I normally go to Shoes and Sox where they measure every time. So I said she was somewhere like a 13 or 1. The sales person tried the smaller first, but that was too small, so went to the next, which my 7 year old was happy with. Two weeks later when she wore them out for the day, she came home in pain. I checked inside the shoes, and it turned out we were sold a size 1 US, not UK, so was a size too small. I took them back, and the same sales person made a reference to the fact they are very open about dealing in US sizes. That was the first I knew of it.
