thought this was a nifty little course with friendly staff and inviting fairways. Is particularly good for the average joe golfer like me. Would recommend but not to shooter mcgavin. The only negative aspect is the fairways are too short for my long drives and the tee off area was not long enough to cater for my unorthodox run up, however i would recommend to my fellow golfing buddies to play here
Having paid to use the practice facilities, I was told I couldn't chip onto the chipping green, except from less than about 5m (I wanted to practice 15m chips). Reason was that they didn't want pug marks on the chipping green - ?? it's a green especially set aside for chipping practice (there is a separate green for putting practice), so not sure why that is a problem. Anyway, I accepted that direction. Later I went to practise the 15m chips on rough ground a bit away from the chipping green adjoining the practice fairway. This area is not used for anything (rough area of various weeds and grasses cut short) - again I was told no chipping. When I asked why not, the staff said they didn't want divots. Maybe they take great pride in their pristine weeds!!
Needless to say I won't be going back, nor would I recommend it to anyone, unless they enjoy the surly attitude I got from the staff.
Can't I've experienced anything except good manners and pleasantness from the staff. I think you need to pull your head in and respect the course and the practice area and the staff.
Ive played there pretty regulaalrly this last 6 months. Staff are friendly. t is what it is a 9 hole course with driving range pratcie putting green and smalll chipping area. When I want to practice pitches and chips I pay for a round when its quiet and circle . I play 1 then 2 for pitch 3 for drive aand back again or play 1,2,3,4 5 8 2 and 3 and 9 and again if quite Ill play 3 or 4 balls on 2 and 5 as practice .Never been an issue. The course condition has suffered from the dry weather and recently the pump house has been out of action.The greens are not the best .But, if you can play well here think how you would play where it is almost perfect conditions
Correct weight, the driving range and "facilities" would be of poor quality in a third world country.
