Unfortunately I've had two very bad experiences with Slimline. It's a shame because the product is good but the customer service is terrible. My latest order was a banner that had to be with us by a particular date for a function. Because I had previously had an order not arrive in time for a function, I called every day to make sure things were on track, including the Monday that it was scheduled to be shipped. At every step I was told everything was on schedule and the banner would arrive. By 3pm on the Wednesday I started to get very nervous so called Slimline. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
A design feature that made the goods unusable for my purpose was not mentioned in the description and the product sketch omitted the one measurement which would have shown it. Another measurement on the sketch was wrong.
When I asked for a refund, I was told I had made a "purchase error" and any return would be regarded as a change of mind return. Among other things, this means a 25% restocking fee would be charged, as well as a stipulation that all returned items must be re-packaged and returned in their original packaging.
The items were packaged in a box over four times the size of the goods inside so the cost of the restocking fee and excessive packaging made it not worth my while to go ahead with the return probably what they bank on.
I advise you to take your business elsewhere.
