This is a small and intimate eatery. It is some what too small to be deemed a restaurant. There are only five tables in total. They do takeaway if you haven’t the patience to wait for a table or are claustrophobic. This is a basic and simple restaurant that offers fresh ingredients. It is an open kitchen so the meals are cooked in front of the patrons. All dishes are reasonably priced. The menu offers all the Thai favourites.

Absolutely quality food. The service is great, i have been coming here for the last 8-9 years, and have always been greeted with a smile and treated with top customer service. A very cosy and warm atmosphere, perfect for a little family lunch or dinner. My personal favourites include the chicken pad thai, peanut sauce combination, and the roasty duck. The dishes have a generous serving that is full of flavour. If you're interested in the thai cuisine i would strongly recommend smiley thai, the dishes are delicious.#reviewtowin
Smiley Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever tried. Their Pad Thai Chicken in the best, and their Chicken Satay sticks are a great entree. All their meals are fresh and very tasty, probably owing to the spices used in the cooking. From a humble beginning, their client base has grown so much that unless you book a reservation, you'll have trouble at getting a seat. I know of a few people who travel some distance to eat here. The only downside is the size - as they are a small restaurant, service can be slow if ordering take away during peak periods. Strongly suggest you ring ahead with your order if you are going to pick up. Keep up the good work Smiley Thai - and if possible buy out the neighbouring store to expand the business!!
