I just (13.2.24 11.30am) drove on Harbord Road behind a slow P-plater when a white Smith's Pool Services truck harrassed me from behind driving up very very close and tooting impatiently ... If my business name was plastered with big letters on the front of my car I would not pester others in that way. Stupid!
Terrible business and terrible lack of service. Over the past 2 months I have phoned Smiths four times about getting my pool serviced. Each time I've phoned I have spoken to someone who just says "someone will call you back". Someone did eventually call me back over a month ago and promised to start a regular service on our pool, but we haven't heard or seen anyone. I've now employed another pool company located at Forestville - they know how to run a business.
I'm very pleased with Smith's service. Staff are very helpful, will test my water samples monthly, give great advice and load my car if anything is heavy. As a newish pool owner, they are a great help. After my pool went almost black over winter under the pool blanket (I didn't realise the pump wasn't working), their advice got it back to sparkling clear water in 3 days and only $20 of chemicals! Brilliant guys, thanks :)
terrible,useless pick any negative adjective and that describes there service!
Still waiting for a phone call after the 4th time they haven't turned up and i've had to call them up asking why.
I would definitely consider other places
See the only complaint they have is yours, d3d88, but the best customers have real names, R2D3d88, and they pay their bills... I know Smiths Pools and they will happily do any service in pools, AS LONG AS YOU PAY YOUR BILLS. I know small businesses, like smith's pools will work overtime to have your custom, but bro, you must have done something to make them think twice about it. Or you might be a tenant of a house or flat and they need permission from the landholder or real estate to fix your pool.
Bye the way, your complaint was a negative adjective, there was a good reason why they did not turn up.
We have been customers of Smiths Pool Service for many years and cannot speak highly enough of the Smith family members we have dealt with. The service staff have kept our pool in top condition and we have never had any cause for complaint.
We know this company, it has been a landmark in our area for well over 30 years. They must be doing something right to survive so well for so long. From Telford Co
