Snag Stand
Snag Stand shop at Macquarie Centre is probably not as busy as its neighbourhood food shops, although it is still relatively popular during end of work week lunches. It is probably because a lot of people still think hot dogs as snacks and not 'main meals'.
The store has a seating area which is quite spacious, with several seating configurations inside and and some seats overflowing to the shopping centre's spacious walkway. The atmosphere pretty much takes a page out of the low-key, modern industrial book, which gives a sense of affordability but at the same time trying to communicate that what they sell is “good value”.
The food was quite alright and the staffs were also quite courteous, but for me personally, I am still not used to the idea of paying more than $10 for a hot dog, especially when the added-value is not so visible on the dish.
