Eligible homeowners and renters/landlords will be able to get $1200 worth of insulation installed for free until 2011. This means all houses up to 100 square meters can be fully covered under the grant, with no excess to pay. All that is required of the tenant is to sign a work order at the end of the installation and the government pays the money directly for you. Who is eligible?:

The majority of Australian households are now eligible for this program. To be eligible you must:

- Not have any insulation currently installed, or have ineffective insulation (0.5 r value)

- Not have recieved the solar water rebate

- Not insulating new buildings or extenstions built after 2003
